Chandigarh: A motivational tour for 26 tribal children of Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir conducted by Indian Army. They visited important places of Punjab, Chandigarh, Dharmshala and Revalsar. While interacting with the children about what they had liked the most during the tour. All the children replied that it was an excellent opportunity for them to have visited places of religious, cultural and historical importance.
Wishing them a bright future ahead, Governor Punjab Haryana and Chandigarh Kaptan Singh Solanki said that the initiative of Indian Army, to show the people of ladkh the unity and diversity of our nation is highly appreciable. Through such educational and motivational tours, the children can witness rich cultural values and heritage of different parts of our country he added.
The team leader apprised the Governor that national integration tour are being organised by children of remote, backward areas of Jammu & Kashmir with an aim to integate opinion makers of the region to national mainsteam.
