Panchkula: The celebration began with flag hoisting by the Principal Jayeta followed by National Anthem. The students also took an oath to work for the betterment of the society and to become responsible citizens of the country. The students showcased the spirit of patriotism and nationalism by presenting drama, elocution, speeches and songs. Also, Annual Academic Prize Distribution Function was organised.
Academic Prize winners of the session 2015-16 of classes 1 to 10 were felicitated on this day. Moreover, the Best House award was given to Maple House for their outstanding performance around the year. Abhishek Jena was given the Student of the Year Award and Lovish Mittal was given Best Sportsperson Award. The celebration was called off by the motivational and inspiring words of the Principal, Mrs. Jayeta. She congratulated the achievers for their accomplishments and motivated other students to improve their performance. In all, everyone enjoyed a lot being part of such an eventful day.
