Centre for Handicapped Children PRAYAAS & Social Welfare Department U.T.
Chandigarh in conversion with other NGOs on 3<sup>rd</sup> December 2015 at Bal
Bhawan Sec-23/B, Chandigarh. Around 100 children of different NGOs/Institutions
performed their cultural activities on this occasion. Special Camp to show the
different type of aids & appliances were organized by different
NGOs/Institution like SOREM, Shadhna, Rotary Club with PRAYAAS.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:
justify;line-height:150%"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; text-indent: 1in;">Mr. Vijay Dev, IAS
Adviser to Administrator-cum-President, ICCW Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. He
appreciated the efforts of NGOs, which are being made for the care of disabled.

Dev, IAS said “The biggest difficulty is the mindset of the people which we
need to change and we should ensure that we respect the differently able
equally”. He also added, “Administration and the NGO’s must work together to
make Chandigarh a model city for differently able citizens”. He also distributed
wheel chairs, CP chairs & special aids & appliances to needy Children.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:
