Chandigarh: The British School, Sector 44, Chandigarh celebrated Janamashtami with great enthusiasm. Tiny tots were dressed up like ‘Kanha’ while participating in a fancy of the dress showcase on the theme of ‘Janamashtami’. The little ones sang Bhajans as a tribute to Lord Krishna. They later visited the ISKCON temple in Sec 36, Chandigarh.
“The celebration was filled with joy and colour. The students came dressed in Krishna attires and presented a pretty picture. They were taught about the significance of the day.” Said Mona Sethi, Principal.
