“Kindness is a language that the blind can see and the deaf can hear” with this maxim, the Peace Club at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School initiated a new campaign, “LET’s SHARE SMILES” on the occasion of Independence Day. To bring smiles and instill a positive feeling in the hearts of poor, eatables, personal hygiene items and stationary items were distributed to the underprivileged strata of the society by the students.
Receiving gifts lit up the morose faces of the slum dwellers and the students felt happy lending the helping hand to the poor and downtrodden. The school Principal, Monica Chawla appreciated the teachers and the students being kind to others and thus making a world better place to live in.
