Haryana locked down in 7 districts

Government of Haryana hereby notifies a lock-down in districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, panipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Panchkula from 9 pm on Sunday 22nd March 2020 to 31st March 2020, stipulating the following restrictions:

i. No public transport services including operation of taxis, auto- rickshaws will be permitted. The exception will include transport of all kinds to and from hospitals, airports, railway station, bus terminals/ bus stands and for the purpose essential services.

ii. All shops, commercial establishments, offices and factories, workshops, godowns etc. shall close their operations except for essential services mentioned in para below.

iii. All foreign returnees are directed to remain under strict home quarantine for a period as decided by local Health Authorities.

iv. People are required to stay at home and come out only for basic services while strictly following social distancing guidelines issued earlier.

1. However, the following establishments providing essential services shall be excluded from the above restrictions: –

a) Government offices/ establishments as per the instructions of Chief Secretary Office.

b) Rail (Rail services already suspended till 31’st March 2020 and air. Local administration will regulate eateries in these premises.

c) Electricity, Water, Sewerage and Municipal Services

d) Bank/ATM

e) Print, Electronic and Social Media

f) Telecom & internet Services including IT

g) Postal services

h) Supply chain and related transportation

i) Manufacturing units engaged in production of essential commodities, agriculture commodities & agriculture inputs, food items and wholesalers, retailers of such items’

j) E-Commerce (delivery) of all essential goods including food, pharmaceutical and medical equipment.

k) Food, Groceries, Milk, Bread, Fruit, Vegetable, Meat, Fish, Atta etc’ and their transportation related activities and warehousing.

l) Take away/home delivery restaurants/ eateries.

m) Hospitals, Chemist shops, Optical stores, Pharmaceuticals manufacturing units including mask and sanitization material manufacturing units and their transportation related activities.

n) Petrol pumps, LPG gas, Oil agencies, their godown Viand their transportation related activities.

o) Production and Manufacturing units which require continuous process may continue subject to such restrictions (including transportation) as imposed by the concerned Deputy commissioner and after obtaining permission from the Deputy commissioner.

2. Private establishments that support the above services or are linked to the efforts for containment of COVID-l9 will remain open.

3.Any congregation of more than five (5) persons shall be prohibited in public places.

4. Transport plan shall be prepared by the concerned Deputy commissioner for the services of essential commodities/services.

5. The RWA’s shall take necessary measures for social distancing and for maintaining essential services. lf any violation found, same shall be informed to police control room by PresidenV Secretary of RWAs. In case, such information not given to the police the
concerned President/ Secretary of RWAs will be responsible.

6.The chief secretary office will issue detailed instructions regarding functioning of Government offices.

Apart from above restrictions in these districts, all inter-state bus services shall remain suspended in whole state.
