Panchkula DC Mukesh Kumar Ahuja on Sunday issued an order regarding timing of neighbourhood and standalone shops allowed as per Ministry of Home Affairs during lockdown 3.0, which starts from Monday. As per the order all the activities are divided into 3 categories.
Category A (All days between 08:00 am and 6:00 pm only)
1. Essentials (Atta chakki, Ration, Milk/Dairy, Fruits and Vegetables, Chemists etc, groceries/kiryana, meat and poultry)
2. Homeopathic, Ayurvedic medicines
3. Books & Stationery shops
4. Poultry/Animal feed, fertilizer seeds, Agricultural tools etc.
5. Any other essentials previously exempted
6. Bakery/Confectionery
Category B (MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY between 08:00 am and 6:00 pm only)
1. Plumber and electrician, fan Cooler, AC repair etc services
2. Electrical and sanitary goods
3. Construction materials.
4. Vehicle repairs, workshops and denting, painting.
5. Cycle s+ ores and repairs
6. Hardware and Paints
7. Furniture/plywood/timber glass etc and works
8. Inverter battery, genset etc. Electronics (Computer /laptop /mobile/ watches/clocks etc) including repair
9. Photostat, mobile recharge
10. Waterpurifiers/Refrigerators/LED Microwaves/ ovens /Stove/gas stove etc and repairs
Category C (TUESDAY, THURSDAY, SATURDAY between 08:00 am and 6:00 pm only)
1. Gift Shops and toy store Sports goods
2. Bag and suitcase shops
3. Dry cleaners
4. Jewelry Shops
5. Optical shops
6. Garments/Cloth houses
7. Glass houses
8. Bedding and Furniture-
Ahuja said shops selling liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco etc. should ensure minimum 6 feet distance between customers and that not more than five persons were present at the shop.
“All establishments shall ensure permanent paint marking outside and inside their premises. These marks shall be 1m apart and it shall be ensured that persons visiting and working maintain social distancing by means of those marks,” said the order.
