With two new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, the total tally of Corona positive patients in the city is now 202. Both the cases are from Bapu Dham Colony. With this, the count of coronavirus infected people from Bapu Dham Colony has reached 131, which accounts for 64.8% of cases in the city. The chain at the colony was triggered by a 30-year-old resident who works as an operation theatre attendant at Government Medical College and Hospital. He was discharged after treatment on Tuesday.
But, the good news is 136 people have recovered from the disease now. Thanks to the team of doctors, only 63 active corona patients left in Chandigarh now. UT adviser Manoj Parida tweeted that administration is now considering to change Chandigarh from Red zone to Orange Zone

With this, the recovery rate has gone up to 45.5%.
