City resident returned from Delhi tests nCov positive

Four city residents have tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. As per the official media bulletin of the UT, a 25 year old male who is living and working in Delhi has been reported to be positive for nCoV. He had returned from Delhi on 2nd June with symptoms of fever and cough. He came to visit his family at sector 41. He has 3 family contacts living in Sector 41, Chandigarh and all of them are asymptomatic.

Three other cases came from Bapudham colony.

  1. A 65 year old female R/o Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26 has been reported to be positive for nCoV. She is a family contact of already reported positive COVID-19 cases in the same family.
  2. A 36 year old female R/o Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26 has been reported to be positive for nCoV. She is a family contact(sister) of already reported positive COVID-19 case in the same family.
  3. A 29 year old female r/o Daria has been reported to be positive for nCoV. She is a family contact (wife) of already reported positive COVID-19 case in the same family.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city stands at 318.
