Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja on wednesday declared 4 new Containment Zone’s in Panchkula.
As per orders of District Magistrate, Panchkula the following areas have been designated as Containment Zone:
- Sector-17: The areas of Sector-17, Panchkula starting from H.No. 480 to 484 & open areas of Gali having these houses.
- Sector-21: The areas of Sector-21, Panchkula starting from H.No. 528 to 537 & open areas of Gali having these houses.
- Sector-6: The areas of Sector-6, Panchkula starting from H.No. 419 to 423 and H.No. 404 to 408 & open areas of Gali having these houses.
- Village Marranwala, Tehsil Kalka: The areas of Shivalik Guest House, Village Marranwala, Tehsil Kalka, Panchkula.
HSVP Estate Officer (Panchkula) Mamta Sharma has been notified as the overall in-charge, who will ensure the supply of essential commodities to the residents of the containment zone.
Nine new cases of coronavirus positive surfaced in Panchkula district on Tuesday. Four cases have been reported from Kalka, one each from Sector 17 and Sector 6, while three cases from a family were reported from Sector 21.
