Chandigarh: City MP Kirron Kher inaugurated a shopping complex and a community centre at the Model Jail Complex in Sector 51, along with UT Adviser Parimal Rai and Home Secretary Anurag Agarwal. The facilities will not only serve needs of the jail staff but also cater to residents of several housing societies in Sector 51. Kher said the Sector 51 residents had been demanding this for long time. The community centre will also have many facilities. AS Cheema, Inspector General of Prisons, Chandigarh, said an ATM facility would soon be started at the shopping complex.
