MAD’s Big Dream with ‘Dream Camp’

Panchkula: On April 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2016, volunteers of the non-profit organisation ‘Make A Difference’ are organizing an annual ‘Dream Camp’ for children at risk at Ramgarh Fort, sector 28 Panchkula.

Dream Camps, which are organised nationally across all 23 cities in which the organisation is operative, are three-day outbound experiential camps that help children dream about their future goals and understand what it takes to achieve those dreams through personal discovery, to explore new talents by challenging themselves and taking responsibility of their actions. Held for the 4th time in the city, the Dream Camp will be holding various fun-filled and life-skill building sessions for the kids.

“Due to their rigid schedule and lack of exposure, the children living in shelter homes hardly get the scope to dream or articulate their goals. As a result, on leaving the shelter homes, they encounter various difficulties.

The Dream Camp is organised with the Big Dream of providing the children with exposure, enabling them to work in a group environment or a practical real-life scenario and of course to help them open up their minds and have a lot of fun!” , Says Rupinder Kaur, City Team Lead, MAD Chandigarh Chapter. With dream camp, we just want to ensure that a child believes that his/her future is bright she added.
