Panchkula: Laam Exporama 2016 which commenced with high zeal among students, came to an end with all the more high spirits on day 2 where students were seen beaming with joy and victory. Chief Guest Jawahar Yadav, Chairman, Housing Board, Haryana Appreciated and encouraged the students for their efforts.
Intellectual minds were seen striving for each correct answer in quiz competition ‘Mixed Bag Quiz’. Art and music were witnessed together when students made beautiful paintings on nature as theme in the event ‘Musical moods on paper’. The techno savvy generation of students showed their video presentation of Bollywood movies shot in Indian monuments in the event ‘Bollywood tickets to monuments’. The auditorium was echoing with sweet melodious tones of thumri in the event ‘Sur taal’.
- In Mixed Bag Quiz category Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula’s team Hiteshwar, Parv, Aerin bagged 1st position, St. Kabir School’s team Suvanssh, Yugam, Inayat 2nd and Little Flower Convent’s team Sarth, Garima, Paras 3rd Position.
- In Musical Moods on paper category Rashmita Subba of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Divyanchal Kapoor of Little Flower Convent and Tanmya of The Gurukul bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
- In Bollywood tickets to monuments category Anirudh Saini of Bhavan Vidyalaya remain 1st, Satvik Shyam of The Gurukul and Pallavi Khattri of Delhi Public School remain 2nd and Rubari Manaktala of Learning Paths 3rd.
- In Sur Taal category Bhavan Vidyalaya 1st, D.A.V., Sector 15, Chandigarh 2nd and Saupin’s School, Chandigarh 3rd.
Overall winning trophy was awarded to Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. Students felt blessed and encouraged on receiving prizes from the chief guest.Motivating the students in this glittering ceremony, the school Senior Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Banerjee said ‘It feels happy to see the creativity of students, and the school has a major role in this to identify and take those creative energies in the right direction’.
