A tragedy was averted after a car overturned near the Chandimandir toll plaza this morning. After a collision between two cars, the i20 which was being driven by Sector-2 resident Kartik Soni overturned.
However, Soni and his friend, who was in the passenger seat, received minor injuries. They were taken to the Civil Hospital in Sector-6, Panchkula and were discharged after treatment. Police officials of the Chandimandir police station reached the spot and had to call a crane to remove the overturned car. No case was registered as both the parties reached a compromise.
