Man goes missing ahead of his marriage

A week ahead of his marriage, a 30-year-old man, a resident of Mansa Devi Complex (MDC), Panchkula, has gone missing.

Ravi Kumar Ranga, who was a graduate from the IIM, Kashipur, was to tie the knot on February 17. But on the night of February 10, he went missing. Failing to trace Ranga, his family has now lodged an FIR at the MDC Police station.

SHO Bhagwan Das said they had registered a case under Section 346 of the IPC. According to his family members, he was into consultancy business and used to organise sports tours for foreigners in Himachal Pradesh’s Dalhousie area.

Ranga’s brother-in-law Sanjeev Kumar Birla submitted that on February 10 night, Ravi had gone to a market in the MDC on his two-wheeler but did not return. His mobile’s last location was in Chandimandir. The two-wheeler on which he left home is yet to be recovered.
